Im so desperated!
You guys remember i told you i had 2 stray dogs? well...its a male and a female...both are very tender and not agressive, i suppose they are with some other dogs but i've never seen them being more mean than usual (they just bark or bite to scare other dogs off)...
But lately there has been another dog arround, its a Boxer, and hes quite mean.
He allmost killed one of my dogs last night (the male of course), he was choking it, my dad was beating him with a stick and he broke it twice, nothing happened, he would not stop and i really thought he was goin to kill him...
Its such an agressive dog! now he wont any of them get near me, i cant even touch the female, he just stares at me in a really mean way, in front of my house in my own very street...i do what i can not to show fear or get near to him (or any of my dogs), i never turn my back on him and i allways walk confident when i see him...but he's so mean and i dont want him near Linda and Jackass anymore (i wouldnt name a dog with such a disrespectful name but is my dog's neighbour and he doesnt respond to any other name now... my neighbour was laughing when the other dog was choking him...he's allways been cruel with his dog, so...Jackass is since a long time my dog and not his, though the poor dog is still loyal to his original family)
what should i do? i cant confront the dog, i try not to show fear but he's too agresive, all i can do is just stay away from him and my other dogs, and it hurts because i understand i cant touch linda anymore (she's been following the boxer..i guess cause he's the alfa male now) he overprotects her and when i talk to her she doesnt respond, her ears and tail look down when i do it but the boxer is allways following her...
The worst is when i want to get near Jackass, he just stares at me like saying: yeah...just dare to give another step and we'll see.
I do understand why he wouldnt want me near Linda, but jackass? he's sad and i know he is injured...i feel so desperated.
My dad is SO MAD...Jackass is allways taking care of me, he walks me to the bus station everyday and my father says he loves him because he protects me.
I dont really want this to go further, my father is talking very seriously about taking out his bbgun and shot the dog, but i dont want the boxer to get hurt either (i do...but i know its not the right thing, is just a dog and acts like one)....
is there a way i can make him leave here without hurting him? i just tought about throwing rocks at him but i dont think that'll work...im pretty scared of him and im afraid he'll bite me when i walk home at night

If it's a stray dog (or belongs to someone else, but walks around freely) you can do two things:
1) Call the animal protection service/local pound to inform them that a dog in your neighbourhood is showing agressive behaviour, and poses a threat to you and your dogs.
2) Build a fence seperating your yard from the street, so he can't get to your dogs and you.
If it's yours, you can:
1) Build a fence in the yard seperating the dogs from eachother.
2) Put it to sleep. Once a dog has bitten it's owner, there isn't really a going back anymore.
(but i know its not the right thing, is just a dog and acts like one)....
I disagree. Normal dogs, even strays who aren't trained/raised by humans are not inherently agressive. They won't attack unless they're attacked or feel threatened.
This dog is simply an asshole. Whether he was trained to be one or born this way, I don't know. Doesn't really matter either.
There isnt an animal control center in mexico (and less in my area)...believe it or not, there's no one taking care of that issue, the government doesnt care about ppl, why should they care about street dogs or cats?
and well, Linda and jackas have never been agressive with me, and they do listen but im not the real owner, they own themselves and i cant bring them home, my mother has a poddle and she doesnt want any other dog. they were just fine until the boxer appeared. i cant build a fence because as i said they dont live in my house :/
so...the only thing i can do is just try to scare off the boxer by myself, no one will come and pick him up, and certainly no one seems to care about he being so agressive exept for me and my family.
