What about a WACOM BAMBOO???


i was thinking about that and the options i have are 6 and if we're talking about art supplies...why not a wacom bamboo? of course that depends on where the winner lives, if the wacom is 100 usd and shipping is another 100 its quite obvious that i wont be able to spend that much XD but if the shipping is 25-35usd its perfectly fine for me.


the other options are:

1. CASH
the thing about money is that EVERYONE needs it/likes it, is the easiest prize when it comes to contests, the winner can get anything he/she wants.
BUT Isnt a very original prize and certainly not everyone has paypal account (the only way i can transfer money, exept for bank transfer of course, but that only works with people here in mexico, im sure there's a way to transfer money by bank but its too much trouble)

2. ART SUPPLIES
its a really good idea!!! i mean, copic markers are awesome and seems like many people wants copics but they cant afford/ or just cant buy a box because of they place they live in.
I could give away some other art supples like professional Mechanical pencils, moleskin sketchbooks and stuff like that...it really sounds like a great idea.
But giving away copics would probably work just for some people, i want copics but im sure i would never use such things because im not really into Traditional art and so it happens with other ppl. Other art supplies could work better than copics...please correct me if im wrong, if you're not into trad, but will like to get copics as prize because you want to give it a try then tell me

and the last thing is that i wouldnt be able to send the copics to all over the world...places like italy or brazil have many troubles with the mail, not to mention shipping is insanely expensive and im just willing to spend 50 usd on international shipping, like priority mail or EMS...maybe Royal air mail (if the store happens to be from UK and so...) cause i've seen its pretty safe... i dont like sending stuff via air mail, im just not comfortable. (prize will be a total of 150 usd if shipping is needed)


3. PRINTS
im cool with you choosing a print from another artist, if you would like a print of mine its ok, but if you want a print from another artist then its perfectly fine and fair after all its your prize...Prints are a win or so it seems.

I dont see anything wrong with prints XD maybe there's ppl who is not into prints? im pretty sure we all like to have cool art hanging from our walls but who knows...maybe you dont like :/

4. SUBS
I dont think i need to explain here.
there's people who see subs as something useless but that can be arranged by changing the price for cash or prints!

5. FEATURES
im not famous, so...a feature of mine would be rather useless XD


I've come to a conclussion, what's best is to give away something like a Wacom bamboo (art supplies are a win win for almost everyone) and if for some reason, if the winner happens to have a tablet already then i can switch the prize to cash (100 usd), prints, subs or whatever the hell she/he wants XD

would you enter? this is not a fact, im just thinking about making a contest later when i finish all the stuff i have to finish (aka comissions, artrades (i owe one to `Hellobaby i think!), kiribans and other things).

What would you like to get as prize??? (you can choose everything exept for drawings cause i just wanna finish what i already owe and thats it...i wanna make art for myself ) also please dont suggest me to send original art because i've done it before and it all went wrong, both packages were lost (or at least i didnt had any note from the winners saying they got it)...

3- Prints?

I was thinking about making a contest with a 100usd first prize, but im not very sure because i'd love to give a 2nd and 3rd price :/ is it better to have just one winner or 3 with prices like:  1st 50 usd,  2nd 30 usd, 3rd 20 usd? :/ id totally give away more money but im gettin married soon and i have to be careful with the money i have XD

i dunno...any idea?



oh, and you'll be drawing "Ivka" dear, cause it is my contest and she's my fav, period XD
